| New digitized
pulsed arc welding machines with self-learning weld data monitoring
The new generation of high capacity
pulsed arc welding machines
QUINTO II has numerous innovative
features. These machines, which have a capacity range between
400 and 600 Amp are suitable for MIG/MAG and TIG welding and
are of compact design, despite the maximum capacity.
One innovative feature is the
synergic operation (single knob operation) which provides
the welder with fully automatic parameter selection with the
option of online fine adjustment of all parameters. The digital
technology of the QUINTO II guarantees reliable reproducibility
of the welding results. The bus coupling of the welding machine,
wire drive unit and additional units such as remote controller
makes highly flexible welding applications possible. The new
Plug & Weld function (PAW) is extremely user-friendly
and allows the QUINTO II to configure itself and to recognize
externally connected units.
In addition to standard features
such as the patented spatterfree ignition (SPAZ), Alu-Plus
and Duo Drive wire feed, a self-learning weld data monitoring
and documentation system with a large data memory is available
as an option. The set values for monitoring the welding process
are determined by the welding machine itself via learning
mode. In addition to the standard serial interface an Ethernet
interface is optionally available for communication with a
main computer. Other components are connected to the welding
machine via serial robot interface, field bus, or in analogue
24 volt technology.
The specific technical advantages
of the QUINTO II pulsed arc welding machine provide ideal
solutions for automated welding tasks, including TANDEM high
capacity processes.
