The 6 axes ROMAT^® industrial robots of which more than 4000 are in use world wide are especially designed for MIG/MAG and TIG welding and can also be used for cutting and handling processes.

The robots can have up to 12 external axes per station and are suitable for loads up to 130 kgs. Depending on the actual requirements there are a large number of different robot types available for individual automation tasks. In addition to the universal standard version of ROMAT 310^®, the ROMAT 360^® provides optimum access to large components due to its extended third axis; the ROMAT 260>^® robot is ideally suited for welding in confined spaces due to its smaller second and third axes. The modular designed ROTROL^® 32 bit multiple processor control can be programmed online or offline. The high performance welding technology for robotic applications is provided by microprocessor controlled power sources in the QUINTO and MC3 series as well as inverter machines.
