Push-Pull Acid pickling lines
remove the scale and oxides from the strip metal by the use
of acid. When processing strip with thicknesses between 1.53
mm and 16.0 mm, Push-Pull lines are used. These lines are
normally operated by integrated mills and metal service centers.
Push-Pull lines are also ideal for mini-mills and cold mills
with lower production needs (where thicknesses range between
1.53 mm, and 6.41 mm.
Push-Pull Acid pickling lines can be equipped with a variety
of machines that add revenue to the basic pickling operation.
These include tension levelling sections and skin-pass rolling
mills to improve strip shape and surface quality.
